Off Road Hand Cycling with Heather’s Ride

Heather’s Ride will center around their “off-road hand cycle initiative” and will have multiple MTB (off-road) hand cycles for those who have lower limb challenges (paralysis or amputees).  Shepherd riders will guide and follow the participants on the designated beginner or intermediate trails.  Rides are free for those with special needs.

About Heather’s Ride

The Heather’s Ride program is a registered 501c3 organization.  Our mission is to help individuals and families stay focused on what they CAN DO!  Not what they can’t.  We strive to provide avenues for adaptive athletes and those with special needs to get out and enjoy the sport of cycling.  We aim to provide open access to adaptive bikes, for free use by disabled individuals, anytime when schedules and weather permit.
