Heather’s Ride will center around their “off-road hand cycle initiative”. They will have multiple aMTB (off-road) hand cycles for those attending who have lower limb challenges (paralysis or amputees). Shephard riders will guide and follow the participants on beginner or intermediate trails designated in the event area. Rides are free to those with special needs. (Helmets provided, and a waiver will need to be signed prior to riding)

The Heather’s Ride program is a registered 501c3 organization. Our mission is to help individuals and families stay focused on what they CAN DO! Not what they can’t. We strive to provide avenues for adaptive athletes and those with special needs to get out and enjoy the sport of cycling. We aim to provide open access to adaptive bikes, for free use by disabled individuals, anytime when schedules and weather permit.
